eBVD as a competitive advantage: Eurogolv Terrazzo

We interviewed Michael Gunnarsson, CEO of Eurogolv Terrazzo, about how they use eBVD.

Tell us about your role at Eurogolv Terrazzo

I am the CEO and owner of Eurogolv Terrazzo. The company supplies imported stone products to businesses across the Nordic market—high-quality, durable, and low-maintenance solutions with a long lifespan, ideal for both public and private environments with high wear and tear.

How do you work with eBVD?

In connection with updated environmental assessments of our products, we have started transitioning to eBVD instead of older versions of building product declarations. We see clear advantages, both for our stakeholders—such as increased traceability and transparency—and for ourselves, through reduced administrative work compared to previous formats.

Now that we can also offer the market reused products, which are in high demand, it is naturally in our interest to ensure that this information is available as quickly and as easily as possible for our customers. This ultimately becomes a competitive advantage.

How do you view the future of digital environmental information?

In my view, the need for digital and accurate information in the construction and real estate sector will only continue to grow. Time and well-informed decisions are directly linked to cost efficiency, which means that information must be kept up to date and easily accessible.
